Charissa is an American Sportscaster born on May 5, 1982. ESPN analyst was commissioned to be a co-host by SportsNation at the end of the year 2012. She was also co-hosting ABC's Splash together with Joey Lawrence. Thompson, born and raised in Seattle Washington, hosted Splash on ABC. The youngest of three, Thompson was determined to make a profession of broadcasting from an extremely young age. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School near Kenmore Inglemoor, Washington. Thompson relocated to California to attend the California university for community students. Later, she transferred to her home institution, the University of California Santa Barbara in 2004, where she earned a B.A. in Law and Society in 2004. Thompson says that, despite what Sports Illustrated said about her decision to leave Washington State in order to attend a community college in California after which she transferred into UC Santa Barbara she never attended WSU. Thompson who was a former sports broadcaster for Sports Illustrated, received an email requesting her body painted and appear in a Swimsuit edition.
