Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy was born on 25th November 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian actress and musician who was acknowledged for her contribution to American television. The show has been highly praised for her outstanding performances on the American television series Law & Order in which she played Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she played Jordan Cavanaugh the main character over a period of six years. Hennessy was also able to showcase her acting skills in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy started her acting career in 1988, alongside her sister in the role of twin call girls in Dead Ringers. In the year 1990, she made an appearance as a guest on Broadway on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved into science-fiction and was the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. In the fall of that year, she was a part of the crew of the NBC popular crime drama Law & Order in the role as assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. As part of the show, she captivated audiences throughout the three years that ended in 1996. For these roles she received an Emmy Award in 2006 and a Golden Globe Award in 2006 and Emmy Award in 2007. Parker was awarded the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway Show Proof.
