Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz who was birthed in Winona Minnesota. The name was given to her by her parents after the town in which she grew in. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Ryder has two half-siblings younger than her, Jubal and Sunyata. At the age of seven, Ryder was seven, her family moved to Mendocino County California. At the time, there were no electric lights. Ryder was a consummate bookworm and would spend her days studying books since there was no television. Ryder began taking acting lessons in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12 years old. When she was 15years old, Ryder was offered her first acting job on the screen in Lucas. Ryder suffered from bullying throughout high school. Her acting career, she hoped that it would aid her. However, the plan didn't pan out. Still, she kept chasing her goals. In 1988, the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that gave her her first big break. Ryder played successful roles for numerous films. In 1993, she was awarded an Oscar Prize to be awarded for The Age of Innocence.
