Heidi Klum was conceived in Bergisch Gladbach in Germany on the 1st of June 1973. Her mother Erna was a hairdresser. Gunther Klum worked as an director of a cosmetics company. Heidi's Dad was earlier as a supervisor of production for the company 4711. Heidi was raised in Bergisch Gladbach which is a town with a population of 70,000, just 6 miles to the east of Cologne. The German-American former fashion model is now a television host and producer, fashion designer, business woman and actress, who lives and works in southern California as well as Germany.
